Back in the year 2018, we were challenged with keeping our construction projects on course, due to delays in getting materials supplies to our different work sites around Uganda. These delays cost us time, money and caused set backs to our projects timelines and efficiency. To fix this problem, we decided to gradually adopt digital tools and IT solutions to help make our operations more efficient.
Soon we realised this challenge was not unique to us. And, that if we organized the resources we had, the solutions we had found would go beyond benefiting our day to day business operations and help other people with similar pain points such as we had. So we set out to create a virtual materials yard where anyone with an internet connection can procure building supplies and have them delivered to their construction site in the right quality and measure required.
Over the consequent years, Zzimba online was born and our service offer has since grown to now include, a sizeable Materials yard- where one can pick and choose the right spec building materials for their project requirements!
We are growing the platform to work seamlessly behind the scenes as the virtual assistant, to provide timely construction procurement help in linking the project owner/ manager to the right supplies or material vendor they need for their procurement needs.
